Lovely day off.

I haven't downloaded pictures to my computer since my birthday...that never happens. My birthday at the Coast was amazing. Full of family, shopping, ice cream cake, amazing weather, and chilling!

The weather this year was seriously amazing. We never get sun, clear skies, and warm weather on beach week. Speaking of beach week, my grandparents have been renting the same beach house since I was too young to remember. We go there with my moms side of the family for a week each year. These last couple years I have only been able to go for a few days, but my grandparents are again and I am afraid beach trip will end any year now. I have been so lucky Paul is willing to drive the 6 plus hours with me to go hang out with my extended family. :)

Yesterday we went to Westport to go crabbing. It was a lovely day full of good weather an many crabs! We caught 8 keepers, and hundreds of baby crabs. It was so good to have time with my hubby. I miss him so much when we are apart all the time.

The kittens didn't really know what to do with the crabs. Even though the crabs were barely moving by the time we got home the kittens were quite skeptical, so cute to watch them interact though!
Today I had the day off and finished putting together a cookbook I have been working on of all my favorite recipes, put them all together in one place with pictures in page protectors in categories. I will have to take a few pictures. I am so happy I finally spent the time to put it all together, it makes me want to cook! Now it will be so easy to keep up on the recipe book!

I make tilipia tacos and homemade frozen strawberry lemonade tonight. Now there are some homemade caramels cooling in the fridge waiting to be rolled out and have sea salt sprinkled on top.

As for now, me and my love are watching Step Up 3. I had to convince him to watch it with me, its cute so far. :)
