Sunday we had everyone over for dinner and we got to use our dining room table for the first time! It was so much fun. Paul grilled chicken, Kathy brought two salads, and I made dessert. So fun, so good to have family around. Awesome.
Random Ikea picture, I just love this store. I wouldn't say I like their big price items like furniture and stuff but for picture frames, lamps, rugs, and stuff like that it is awesome.
Today Eric was trying to be all cute and stuff when I got home from 8 hours of class. Well he was cute, but still on my poop list. It's gonna take a while to get off of it little mr.
I also decided that my purse was an awful mess this afternoon, I mean look at all that crap I fit in there? But look how much I pared it down. :) Makes me happy.
I bought this new picture frame at Ikea yesterday and have had this Seattle print for a while now. I bought it after the Underground Tour in Seattle and it had it's own mat and stuff that got ruined in the move, so I moved it to this frame and love it! It doesn't exactly match the other picture in the bathroom but they both make me happy, so they both stay. Haha.
And here is the finished picked up version of our spare spare room. The catch all that had stuff piling up on the dresser. Paul's half broken gun is still on top of the dresser, but other than that all the drawers and everything is all organized and purged. I love organizing!
After I finally replaced the broken frame I was able to put pictures in them from Costco. I took all the pictures myself and it only costs 2.99 to print a 12x18 picture at Costco! I love having the living room finally all put together....but now I think I am going to paint it this color like in this room here but without the shiny design on the wall. It would make the room lighter and I would finally be able to fill in the holes and sand down the crazy areas they just painted over with blue paint.
Tomorrow Paul and I both have the day off. I have to go get my TB test read, we both have dentist appointments, and we are going shirt shopping for Paul. I am exhausted from class and laundry and cleaning and everything.
I hope all you girls are all having an awesome day and will have another one tomorrow.
Loves.
I love all of your new frames/art on your walls. I am getting so excited to get into our little house now. haha. You guys look so cute in your ikea pic - how long do you have to take classes for? You are doing SO much these days, it sounds like!
ReplyDeletePS I LOVE that room. I must pin it. haha.
I have classes through November but they are only once or twice a week. The other days every week I am on the floor orientation with a preceptor. My preceptor is amazing and taught me so much in the first day. I am going back today for my second day on the floor. It should be fun. :)
