A New Season

So things are once again changing for us!  On Friday Justin found out that he got a new job!  Its great because its a full time PERMANENT position (he's covering a maternity leave right now) and its in Oakville which is half an hour from where I got to school-cutting my commute by an hour!  He starts work on April 25, we're thinking we'll be moving out of here May 1st.  We have started advertising our apartment and are looking online for apartments in the Oakville area.  We are really excited about the move, but I'm a little sad to be leave Simcoe, I've really enjoyed the church here and I was looking forward to being so close to the beach this summer.  I'm also not really looking forward to packing up again, but hey I'm pretty used to it by now.

What I am excited about are my little seedlings!  I planted these seeds just over a week ago and they are growing so much every day.  I have cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, basil, morning glories and zinnias.  I'm going to have to take these with us and hopefully our new place will have some outdoor space.

Its a rainy day over here, but Justin parents are coming over for the afternoon.  We'd usually go for a walk, but I think we'll just hang out and play games inside instead.  I'm excited for dinner, I'm going to make Angela's Pho again.  It was so good when I made it before and I think my in-laws are going to like it too.
We've cleaned the house and we're just waiting for them to get here.  Its funny Beatrix knows somehow that people are coming.  I think its because we were madly cleaning earlier-is it bad that our dog takes that as a cue that company is coming?

  1. OH Candice! I can feel your excitement and absolutely understand the little bit of sadness associated with leaving where you have just become acquainted with! You make me feel so much less crazy knowing that other people have life changes that cause them to have quick moves, and new seasons sometimes take place rapidly in their lives also! I look forward to hearing how everything unfolds for you two in the following months - it is always so amazing to see how God has things worked out and how it is always truly better than we could have planned.

P.S. I really want to plant some seeds. I think I might have to do that tomorrow on my day off, just because of your picture. So thank you for sharing it :D

  2. I am so excited Justin found a full time job and it is way closer to your school! I hope you still get to visit the beach this summer, and you find another awesome church. I really need to plant my seedlings too, I really need to do spring yardwork but it keeps raining!

I hope your in-laws enjoyed the pho. Your place looks great and Beatrice is adorable. :)
