Extra day off this week, no one is complaining.

31 weeks, baby is a pinapple. Pineapples are big, and baby definitely feels big!

On Saturday at work I had to hang out in a quad while we reopened it, it had been closed for the week for renovations.  I got one patient at like 9:30 and then the next didnt come for nearly an hour, but I couldn't leave the quad because one nurse has to be with the patients, even if there is only one patient!  So I took a panaroma of the quad.  This is where I work on a regular basis, it's kinda hard to tell but the rooms are in a semi circle around the nurses stations (desks) and the opening to the rest of the floor is to the left of the picture, straight in front of the first desk.  It's an awesome set up actually. My patients are all so close instead of being down long hallways.

I love making extra waffles and freezing them.  Then when I am craving some all I have to do is pop one in the toaster oven and voila, instant (and quite unhealthy) breakfast!

My kitties have been attached to me at the hip lately.  I have felt like they knew I was pregnant since the beginning, but as my belly gets bigger and bigger they stick closer and closer. :)

On October 31st I finished all of our Christmas cards!  All the presents are wrapped.  I have the day after thanksgiving off and I can't wait to decorate for Christmas!  December will mean only a month till I meet baby and I couldn't be more excited. :)

I let balloons off with my friend Sara for one our our hs friends, really an acquaintance to me, who ended his life this year.  He had moved away so people didn't quite know what was going on with him, but he was married and had two young daughters, so prayers for his family left here on earth, prayer for the momma to be strong.

My cats like water more than food, they are seriously crazy.  I filled the water bowl upstairs and they drank out if it together for a few minutes and they heard me filling the downstairs one they came running together to drink.

I added a few more touches to the baby room.  I had been thinking about waiting to put the banner up above the map until I knew if we are having a little man or a little lady, but then I really wanted one up and already had all the circles cut and ready from when I had made mobile so I decided to go with a black and white banner instead of a boy or girl colored one.  It only took 5-10  minutes to make so I can always make another one!  I also added a few pictures to the side of the dresser where I will look as I rock baby. It makes me smile even now when I go sit in baby's room just to look around. And of course the cats kept me company while I decorated.

I have been wanting Hunter rainboots for as long as I could remember, but they are ridiculously expensive and I just couldn't justify them. Then Costco had them online for cheaper than I have ever seen them, I have never seen them on sale anywhere, and I still had birthday money left, so I splurged and spoiled myself.  I couldn't be happier!

Since the cats have been following me everywhere I have way more pictures of them.  Paul picked Eric up after he had been sleeping in front of the fire (ie melted) and he just stayed limp in Pauls arms, I have never seen a cat so relaxed while being held haha.  They love fires and snuggles and me being home and chilling more.

We had a potluck at work because on of our Physician assistants loves potlucks.  I was going to make cake pops, but the process of dipping them in frosting and having them not drip all over the stick takes absolutely forever so I laid them all out and drizzled white chocolate glaze over the vanilla cake balls and oh man were they a hit!  I wish I could make these more often but they are dangerous because they are bite sized and so easy to eat, and they are definitely not healthy!  So I only make them when I have somewhere to take them :).

Baby is on a growth spurt.  Baby actually just changed from laying on the left side head down, to right side head down.  Took little one about 5 minutes and was quite uncomfortable for me, but we are all settled now, and doing well. :)  I will never get tired of the kicks and squirms.  I am still carrying super high though which makes my ribs feel constantly sore and bruised but that's better than baby being super low and causing back pain and waddles!

I got mandatory standby yesterday for the first time in 8 months probably and Paul was off!  I love having unexpected days off with him.  We lounged around the house all day in front of the fire, watched far too much netflix, and took a super long walk that wore this momma out.  It felt so good though.

Today Paul is at work, and my internal alarm woke me up at 5:30, which was good since Paul had forgotten to set his alarm, so I started housework early.  I vacuumed, cleaned 2/3 of the bathrooms (I still need to do the master), prepped a bunch of food for the fridge, picked a healthcare plan, and tied up some loose ends of other stuff laying around the house.  It is now noon, I have warm rice in the rice cooker and I plan on reading a bit of my baby book and then headed out for a swim!

Hope you all are having a good week, Amber I am praying for you!  Becca, I can't wait to see you Saturday. Candice, I wish Canada wasn't so far away and we could hang out more!
