I'm enjoying a Thursday night watching the news and tinkering around on the internet while Beatrix snuggles. Every week seems to fly by which is good because I feel like my pregnancy has flown, 17 weeks already!

I'm starting to show which is exciting and different. I have to be strategic about my wardrobe and find that I'm between regular clothes and maternity. One of my friends lent me a tote of maternity clothes, it's so great to have a stash to start from! There are a few tops and one pair of pants that I've started wearing (pants are in the photo). I'm starting to feel the baby move too which is so cool!
Work has been going well. My listening class had been struggling (I think part of it was my lack of energy in the first trimester), but this week has gone really well. I've found it tough to find fun and active listening activities (how do you stretch out listening 2 hours a day?), but I've found a few ideas that are really helping. The best has been our 'project' this week and that is listening and dancing to the Cha Cha Slide . You have to listen to know what moves to do, it's helped break the ice which makes for a better class overall. It's also been a great way to get in some exercise while I work!
Our weather has finally turned!! We went from a windchill of -4F on Monday and tomorrow we have a high of 50F! It's crazy how my perception of warm has changed! It's supposed to stay in the 40s and 50s from now on.

I love your baby belly, you look amazing! And I agree, it's so nice to start with a stash if pregnancy clothes, I only bought a few shirts because if everything Becca gave me! I am so glad your weather is taking a turn for the better, it's amazing how much extra energy I get just by seeing the sunshine!
