Girls! It has been a whirlwind of a past two weeks! I had more pictures, but google is telling me I have too many images on my picasa account, so I'll have to clean that out before I can put anymore up.
Last week we celebrated our 4th anniversary - I can't believe how fast time has gone! We have now been married long enough to have our debit cards expire from when we first set up our joint bank account. Thats about the only milestone I could figure out, haha. And they sent us our new ones with our pictures from when we were 16 still on them (because we both had the same bank before we were married).
We dressed up and went to olive garden and had a lovely dinner out. Nothing too special, but time alone and out is rare these days. For some reason these are the only two pictures I got.
Friday we played outside and got muddy (well, Shea did), while the adults sipped iced coffee and bbq'd.
Saturday we went to a fun birthday party and stuffed ourselves silly with cake.
I stayed up late talking to my soon-to-be sister-in-law (until 1AM) last Friday night, which was nice because I have barely gotten to know her at all. She spent the night, which was after my family was over for the day (and most of the night). Saturday night we went to the party and then had dinner out at a family from church. Sunday night we Jeremy's family over for dinner to celebrate his mom's birthday. We had company again on Wednesday night.
Yesterday Shea was dancing and fell and hit the corner of our coffee table. Luckily, he doesn't need stitches and by day 2 it is healing up pretty well. But boy, it scared me. Blood everywhere, big gash above his eye. He has a band-aid on it and he looks kind of pirate like because you can't see his eyebrow and it makes him squint. haha. At least he doesn't' look abused. But changing that band-aid is quite the traumatic experience...guess I don't blame him. I wouldn't want a band-aid ripping my eyebrow hairs out either. I had a picture of him, but oh well, I guess I'll upload it later on.
Anyway, I have a baby shower tonight, have to take my car to the dealership tomorrow to get the recalled part fixed, and have ANOTHER baby shower tomorrow afternoon. And I'm coming down with a cold...but life is GOOD! And I'm happy its Friday! And now my son is up. I think I'm going to make us some oatmeal and hot tea, and hopefully my sore throat will go away. Oh, and we've gone two weeks without any showings!! I am so thankful that there is always something to be joyful about! How can I ever complain? Love you girls! You are all so beautiful and are so blessed to have people around you can share that with.
I often only get pictures of Paul and I driving places! Love it. Shea looks adorable romping around outside. It sounds like you have been super busy, but blessed with many visitors. :) I love that and I love hearing about everything!
ReplyDeleteAnd four years is crazy, it sounds like so long, but I bet it feels like 4 months. :)
