How pathetic that I have had two weeks off school and haven't been posting! I'm so busy wasting time...
That's not entirely true. The week before Christmas was busy, of course - and even more so since Joe and I are deep into the house hunt. We looked at 14 houses in one day last week! Yesterday I got carried away while putting together the next batch of houses to look at, and dinner was an hour late. (That was also because I couldn't figure out my new rice cooker, which was annoying. If it keeps working like this, I'm going to take it back and stick with my old one, which still works better than my new one even if does need a new inner pot.)
I'm enjoying this Christmas break thing to the max - husband is at work, and no school, no job, and no kids. This is why I only feel a little bit guilty for playing computer games almost all morning and for still being in my pj's at 1. But...it's raining so hard outside, and I am drinking tea and it's so cozy. I wish I was tired so I would want to go back to bed.
Those of you who are still working hard are probably scoffing right now.
Angela and becca, I am sooo excited to have you and your husbands over for New Years' Eve! You have no idea!
Candice, I want to hear from you! We missed you and Justin at the Dickson Christmas!
I don't have much to report - just checking in. Love you girls!

ha - don't feel pathetic for not posting! I am so glad you've been enjoying your two weeks of no-school bliss! I am excited to hang out on New Years Eve, too! I'm so glad you invited us :)
ReplyDeleteOH, and I was given a rice cooker when we got married, and after several times of trying to make good rice in it, I gave up. I always make it on the stove now. I think its because the rice cooker is so different from the one we had growing up, I don't know how to use it! My rice always comes out undercooked in it. So, I absolutely feel your frustration over that!
Definitely don't feel bad for not posting. Not only have I not been posting I haven't been commenting! Lame I know. I do read everything though and now I am coming back to let you girls know how happy I am that you guys give me something to read when I get home at midnight and the hubby wants to sleep. :)
ReplyDeleteYou deserve the break amber, that's the best thing about being in school!
