Where is everyone?

Hi girls, I hope you're all well! Joe and I spent the last two days doing absolutely nothing. It's not fun being sick, but I have concluded it's better to be sick with your husband than alone, for the following reasons:

  1. You both feel sorry for the other person.
  2. He appreciates the chores and the meals so much more, and helps.
  3. LOTS of relaxing cuddle time.
  4. You don't feel guilty for goofing off, so the pressure to accomplish things is off. This puts both of you in a pretty good mood because you can enjoy the down-time.
Yesterday was the best day because it was both of our "getting better" day. We weren't sick enough to take more than one nap, but were still achy and weak enough to just sit all day.

Today I have to be productive again. I have finals this week and next - one big project due this week, two next week. It's really hard to be productive after two days of sleeping in and goofing off....

Anyway, that was just a quick update from me. I want to know how YOU are doing!!!

  1. I am so glad you have been blogging, because even though I haven't been blogging (because all I have been doing is working!) I love reading your blogs! I am so sorry you have been sick, that is no no no fun at all, but you are right, being sick with the hubby would be way better. I was thinking of visiting on Friday, but I shouldn't if you are still sick or if you have bucketloads of hw to catch up on because you haven't done any for two days. I miss you girl!

  2. I totally agree with Angela! I've been reading your posts even though I haven't been commenting or posting. I have worked two nights this week (last night was exhausting) and have to work another night tomorrow night! Plus I'm still getting over my sickness (lost my voice, of course) and now Shea is sick! Hope you get a big boost of energy to get all your schoolwork done after some down-sick-time! I know that I am so looking forward to this weekend - and the week after when we get to go on our "vacation" (we get two sundays off from our church, I am sadly ecstatic about this!)

  3. I will blog, I promise! I wish I had an excuse this week, but I don't. I seriously have done NOTHING all week. I have watched at least 8 movies! I think my doing nothing for a whole week is a reaction to the insane business I had with the last month of school. I think I've had my time to relax, and tomorrow I will get in the mode of accomplish things. I have been reading the blog, I even took pictures to post on the blog but haven't done it yet. I feel like I'm writing a confession here! But it feels good to get it out in the open. :)
