Update.

Merry Belated Christmas, and Happy New Year!

I've been at my in-laws for Christmas since the 22nd, so I feel I haven't had much to post about because I haven't been home to accomplish things.  I have been doing a lot of fun stuff, yesterday I went with Justin and his parents to the Bata Shoe Museum and the Textile Museum in Toronto, something I've been wanting to do for a while now.  Also, this week, I sewed an apron!  I helped my sister-in-law make one too.  I will post pics later when I get home.  Other exciting news.....Justin and I are going to Cuba on January 3rd for a week!  We have been saving for a while to be able to take a trip sort of as a "second honeymoon" because we didn't go anywhere warm for our first honeymoon.  I'm so excited to be able to go...I miss the beach so much, and it'll be great spend so much time with Justin.

Can I also brag that I've run on the treadmill twice while being here?  Its been difficult to motivate myself while on vacation mode...and ideally I would have gone more than twice...but I never seem to reach my ideal goals when it comes to working out.

I hope you all have a great New Years!

  1. Any sort of exercise during the christmas season is mighty impressive! Oh my goodness, I am excited for you guys to go on your second honeymoon, that is something Paul and I have been talking about...and we just got married 4 months ago. Haha.

Have an awesome New Years Eve, we so wish you could be at Ambers with us!

  2. Two times on the treadmill beats me - I haven't worked out for like a month, and the one time I did I barely finished my workout, so way to go!

I am totally excited for you guys, too! We went on our "second honeymoon" to california two years ago, when I was pregnant, and it was so fun! I hope you guys have an awesome time (I'm sure you will!). Take lots of pics to share with us!

    Happy New Year!

  3. Candice I'm so happy you guys get to go on a second honeymoon! What a great opportunity to practice your Spanish - with your Tagalog background and all the classes you've taken, you must be pretty fluent. I remember when we went to Mexico on that missions trip, you were able to communicate pretty well!

Way to run on the treadmill twice! I haven't done a real workout in a while! Good job!
