How can a morning not be lovely when I have my little boy sitting on my lap pointing to animals in a book and naming them excitedly while singing along to "How Great is Our God" on Pandora. I love hearing Shea sing - and he sings ALL the time. Love, love, love it! On Sunday, his cousin, John, who is three years old, and him were playing in the sanctuary after church. They were standing on the stage taking turns singing into the microphone and dancing. It was so cute!
Anyway.
Yesterday I only had to work until 4, which was nice. I've been losing a lot of hours lately. Which has been nice because I've had a lot more time at home, and a lot less time having to deal with being sick at work. Jeremy has been able to work for his old employer lately, so God is completely making up for my lost hours that way. It is so good to know that we are always being taken care of.
So last night with my free time, I played with Shea for a while, we read a TON of books, took a bath (well, Shea did, that is), and got ready for bed. I DIDN'T do the pile of dishes there was. Instead I worked on Shea's Christmas pajamas. I'll have to take a picture of them when I finish the top. I had to make my own pattern based off of some of his other pajama pants, and I am so happy they turned out the right size. They are light blue with orange monkeys riding bikes and snowflakes. haha so random but perfect. I need to get a little more fabric to do the top though.
Ok my pandora station for Shea is so weird. It's "veggietales" and just went from worship songs to the chipmunks singing "all the single ladies". And guess who is singing along to it almost perfectly? Yeah. Greeeaaat.
I talked to my sister for almost an hour last night and planned out some more sewing projects I have for Christmas. Today Shea and I are going to go out and run some errands. I realized yesterday when I started wrapping presents that I bought a girls huskies onesie for my nephew. Oops. Didn't notice the ruffles at the store. So I need to go find something else for him.
I also finally got in touch with a midwife! Ends up her office is only like 10 minutes from our house and she seems pretty cool. We'll see. If we don't like her, I'm probably going to go back to Bellevue and just deal with the trip each month. It will give me an excuse to be out that way at the least, so maybe I'll get to visit you girls some time! Not sure how that will all work out though. We don't have our first appointment until the week of Christmas, because she wants to make sure we can hear a good heartbeat.
OK just thought I'd tell you all this useless information about my life. haha. I have some pictures to post, but I'm too lazy right now.
Hope you have a great day, girls!
I love all the information about your life! Its the little things that are always so interesting. Yesterday I spent the whole day sewing an apron for my sister-in-law for Christmas. It was like therapy to be sewing again! Looking forward to seeing the photos of Shea's pjs!
