This last week has been kinda crazy, but a good crazy.
- Monday: I worked till midnight
- Tuesday: Paul and I were at our new house from 8-12 freezing our butts off, huddled in sleeping bags with a space heater waiting for the guy to come turn on the gas. He came, everything works, we were happy. We came home, I cooked lunch and then booked it to work.
- Wednesday: I worked till 11:30 but couldn't fall asleep till 1:30am.
- Thursday: I woke up at 11, got ready, went to Ambers house, did laundry, hung out, drank tea, then at 5 came home to clean and then Paul took me out to Sushi!! Then for some reason I couldn't fall asleep till 2:30am
- Friday: Paul and I were at the house from 7am-11am getting our washer, dryer, refrigerator delivered and getting the inspection completed, everything went perfectly. (and this time we didn't have to freeze our butts off!). Then we came back to the apt, made lunch, watched tv, and Paul got a call that they were ready to work on his car (part of his christmas present), so we went to tacoma from 1pm-4:30pm (he bought me starbucks and a bagel and cream cheese because I was grumpy! Haha), then we drove to Seattle to drop off a part (the final part) for his Civic to be fixed. (I think we can pick it up on Monday and then begin the process of trying to sell it!!) Then we came home, I packed up the whole apartment besides the kitchen and a few things we are using in the bathroom, made homemade pizza, and then we went to bed around 11...I wasn't tired though and went to bed will after midnight.
- Saturday: Paul worked at 11 so we both slept in together (heavenly) and then he got ready and left, I picked up the house (still have to do the dishes) am now eating lunch, and then will get ready for work (I work at 2:30)
And for the most exciting news. We move into our house on TUESDAY!
Here is the packing process last night.
The clothes are pack with garbage bags over them and the hangers now to keep them dry, clean, and compact when we move.
And now before I leave for work I must do the dishes (in 3 days I will have a dishwasher!!!!) and send out the thank you notes. :)
I love the daily updates and the pictures! You've been so busy! Joe can help you move on Tuesday, I'll have to see where I am with school. Love you!
ReplyDeleteyay! How exciting! I liked hearing all about your week! I hope your move goes well - wish I could help :) I guess one of the good things about moving from an apartment is that you don't have a lot of stuff yet, so I bet it will be a fast move.
