SO I love the house even more! The owners were so nice and it was fun to meet them. It has way more space than we thought from the outside. The living room is a little smaller than we thought, but it's still a really good size, so it doesn't matter. The kitchen has more space, adn there's a huge laundry room with enough space for me to put all my sewing/craft stuff in there. Plus, there's a 400 sq. foot upstairs rec room, with a built in gate at the top of the stairs so Shea can't get down! It even has a fire pit in the back with tons of wood we're allowed to burn, and fenced in BIG yard with some woods for Shea to explore in. I'm really really really trying not to get my hopes too high. It's been on the market for 6 weeks this time, and they've only had one showing, so thats kind of good for us. Basically the only problem is that we can't move until te end of March, but she hadn't gotten back to anyone else who had called and they really want the right people in there. We'll see! I don't want to post any pics myself, but here's the craigslist posting: http://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/apa/2171558988.html Its even cuter in real life though :)
Anyway, I'm having fun this morning sitting around in my PJs with the fam. We only get three channels on our TV, so Shea is watching the Christian channel cartoons and is SO interested in them....that kid has some weird taste!
Happy Weekend!
wow your cheesecake looks amazing!! I hope it works out to move into that house, it looks really cute, I love the backyard!
ReplyDeleteOh man your cheesecake is so cute and I bet it was absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteI understand you not wanting to get your hopes up. The house is adorable from the outside and sounds perfect for your family, but we all know God has a plan, and whatever he decides will happen. It doesn't keep me from hoping that you guys get to move in and the people dont sell it for a long time!
Oh my, becca. You are so creative! The cheesecake looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI really hope you guys get to stay in the house!
By the way, you cracked me up with your comment about having to take twelve buckets of water upstairs for each load of laundry! Wow! Stairs really are awesome for keeping in shape: when I worked at Panasonic I made many trips up and down stairs. I didn't know how in-shape I was till I randomly did a seven-mile hike and wasn't even winded!
You girls are so sweet - thanks for being excited along with me :) I'm trying not to talk about it too much to my husband because I think he's tired of hearing it from me.
ReplyDeleteAngela - Haha, so true! Although, I will admit, I didn't have to carry buckets up the stairs...I don't even think I would DO laundry if I had to do that. I just had to go across the kitchen from the sink to the washing machine...but we had really bad water pressure and it took FOREVER...and most of the time, I did have a newborn in a carrier on me.
