A little update.

Work has been good lately. It has been a combination of good patients and increasing experience. We have the most beautiful view of Mt. Rainier from one of the rooms in the quad I have been working in most of the time. This isn't even the room, I went to the one next door which actually looks at an ugly wall, but I tried to angle my phone so I could show you ladies just a peak of the mountain. The curtain was in the reflection, but you get the idea. Speaking of reflection, the ceiling of the elevators is a mirror. And when you are tired and loopy at almost midnight you take goofy pictures. I was definitely the only one in the elevator!

So my cats are getting increasingly creatively naughty. I had the craft room door shut, and somehow they managed to get the door open (it must not have been clicked shut), open the closet door, jump on the bookshelf, knock over the vase and make a mess. They didn't stop at that though, they also opened the bottom drawer of Alex (my white craft stack of drawers) and knock over all the containers inside and drag some string and envelopes out. NAUGHTY.

I was so so so tired when I woke up this morning it was ridiculous. I went to bed at 1:30am and woke up at about 9 am, a little earlier. I had plans to clean the bathrooms and vacuum the laundry room but nixed those for a little more chill of a day. I went up to my craft room and did all the little things I have been putting off. I mailed and took pictures of our HOA dues since they said we didn't send them last year (but then found out that we did and it was the previous owners who hadn't paid dues). I wrote a letter to our World Vision Child, I finally mailed off the paperwork so I can do childcare at church, I mailed the last thank you note off to my Aunt Helen, and sent my mom a letter. I couldn't help but make the envelopes cute. :)

My kitties continue to cuddle me daily while I read my Bible and I couldn't be happier. But in the spirit of keeping it real there is an avocado leaf in front of my craft room. So lovingly placed there by one of my kitties. They never quit.

I hope you girls are having a fabulous week. I know I am!

  1. haha I love how you talk about your kitties. Sometimes we talk about getting a cat or a dog, but right now, I know that would just drive me nuts - I already have enough to clean up after every day! I love your goofy elevator ride, and the fact that you made your normal envelopes so cute - I thought they were store-bought that way! I'm glad you're having a good week, and I enjoyed waking up and reading this post this morning!
