Think happy thoughts...even when your shelf breaks and a full costco size container of Mr. Yoshida sauce and soy sauce spills all over your pantry. You know what made that shelf fall? When I added a bag of powdered sugar to the shelf...not cool. So I put my extra flour, sugar, everything for baking container on the floor (since it was heavy) spent 30 minutes scrubbing the floor, and replaced the clips in the wall and fixed the shelf.
I spent forever today cleaning. Seriously. My parents were here Saturday and Sunday (left at 3:30 on sunday). We had an awesome time hanging out, painting (pictures of the finished bedroom to come soon) and just talking. My mom and I got our hair cut at Gene Juarez ( I will post pictures of us soon...after I make my mom take a picture of herself!) We both love our haircuts!
Anyway, I cleaned today after my parents left, first the mess in the pantry, then three loads of laundry, then cleaning up all the paint supplies and vacuuming, then loading and unloading the dishwasher, then organizing papers, and finally putting away all the stuff of mine that my parents brought from Moses Lake. Then I made Amber's recipe of Taco Soup for dinner. So yummy and filling.
Ps. I love my accent wall!
Your poor pantry!! At least now its cleaned up and you hopefully won't have that problem again! You look so tough holding that screwgun, hehe.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got a ton done! Can't wait to see pics of your bedroom.
p.s. I think we have the same lamps in our bedroom too.
