Hi girls!
Finally I am done with midterms. I only had them on Tuesday and Wednesday, so two days, but those two days felt like a week. I only have one more class on Friday, and then I'm off for a week! Thank goodness for a break from school! So today I accomplished a lot, I wrote two midterms (by 1 pm), went to a lunch meeting with the campus ministry chaplain I volunteer with, had a leadership study meeting, and helped prepare the soup supper for students. As I type my bathtub is getting filling up...my plan is to soak, help all my tense muscles relax, get into pjs and fall asleep in bed with fresh sheets.
I realized that now I have time to get my haircut! Its been bugging me lately, but I have been too busy with school to go to the salon.
I have a bit of an update on Justin's interview. He said it went well, but he's up against 10 other people, and the firm is going to pick three for a second interview, and then make their decision. So he'll find out next week if he makes round too. Part of me feels so confident that he'll get the job, because he's Justin and he's great! But I know that the interviewers don't know him like I do...
signing off for now, hope you ladies are doing well!
lol, fresh sheets are the BEST! Joe thinks I'm so silly because when I climb under clean sheets I can't help giggling and wiggling around like a six year old. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI am SO proud of you for realizing the ways to take care of yourself like getting your hair cut! and taking a bath!
And I'm so proud of Justin for that great interview! I know what you mean, knowing that your husband is the best for a job and hoping other people realize it too. Joe is seriously the most responsible pharmacist out there. He has only taken one sick day in his whole career - and if I had twelve hour shifts on my feet dealing with ungrateful people, I'd look forward to using my sick days.
Anyway, we just have to keep respecting our husbands, right? So glad my mom gave you that book for Christmas. I'm borrowing it from becca right now!
