A good day.

Yesterday was a good day, a very good day. I started out my morning hanging out with my love then getting ready, then meeting a friend for coffee that I haven't seen in months. We hung out till 12, I gave Gabe a call (who I was supposed to meet in Olympia to help pack) and she said they fit everything in the cars they had and that I could just meet her at 2 at her apartment. So I went and saw Amber! I have missed our hang out times so it was a much needed get together for the both of us. :) Then I headed over to Gabe's, we unloaded the car and truck and then headed to costco to get a ton of groceries and a much needed queen size bed. Here are two goofy girls unpacking...

Do you see that apron I am wearing? She got it for christmas, I want to steal it.

I love the layout of the apartment, it is large for only one person to live in (it's a two bedroom so she can have visitors easy. I love how the kitchen is a walkway, and she has a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. So nice!

Her "healthy" drink...

Do you see that mirror I am in on the left, best mirror ever. If you ever want to feel super skinny that is the place to look, that thing takes inches off!

Now here is a sneak peak to what I am going to be doing in our living room...I have to redraw all my pictures though ( I drew these in like 15 minutes last night so its no biggie). I am going to buy frames (like the one that I have above the fireplace like I showed below) and redraw these pictures on either white or this tan paper, I haven't decided yet, but I am super excited! Now just to make another trip to ikea to get those frames...

The frames that will look so awesome in the living room!

And this is my morning. Donut, OJ (with pineapple juice too), a comfy bed, a computer, and a bible (off to the side- I read it before doing computer stuff). Love love love life.

The end for now. :)

  2. What a great post! I'm glad you had a full day of friends and fun! I can't wait to see your pretty drawings in your new frames, and I absolutely love your tray on your bed! And that you were actually serving breakfast on it for yourself! I have a tray that I've been wanting to repaint white for a while now, so I think I've been motivated. After we move...thanks for all the pictures!
