Well, I'm home sick from work for a second day in a row. How I hate staying home from work! I mean, I like having days off, but only when I'm not missing work! Sunday night I had the chills and a fever all night, and felt horrible when I woke up. Super weak and shaky and cold, so I called in sick. It was sooo hard to watch Shea while I was sick. He wanted to play and is so active in general, but I could barely move! I felt like I was super crabby with him most of the day and didn't like it. My hubby came home later in the day and made me soup and some juice, I finally took some tylenol and my fever broke. So I thought I'd be fine to go to work today. Well, my fever came back during the night, and this morning I woke up feeling worse than yesterday, super nauseous and shaky again....so I figured I shouldn't be around 3 year olds with a 104 temp and feeling like I was going to throw up at any moment. My mom came over today and watched Shea while I slept, which was so nice. I feel tons better now - my fever is gone and I just feel a little sick to my stomach. I even took a shower and did my hair so I would feel a little bit like I've accomplished something other than lying around.
Anyway, last night while I was feeling better, I packed 9 boxes, and and made some delish banana bread (coconut-lime-banana bread, if you want to try the recipe) today I just finished getting Jeremy's work receipts/mileage up to date on our spreadsheets and filed away (took forever, because I had put it off for a month and two weeks, I normally do it once a week...). Once Jer brings home some more boxes, I'll probably get our bookcases packed up...at least, I would like to get that much done today on the packing front!
I am so sorry you have been sick! That is no fun. I am so glad you are feeling better though, and that your mom was able to come over and watch Shea! :)
