Alright girls! I feel like I got SO much done! I am so grateful for my mom - she offered to stay an extra hour or two while I ran out and got a bunch of errands done. I'm sure I got way more done without Shea, so I am feeling pretty good!
First, I'll share with you some of my valentines from today! I got a lot of suckers and things like that, but here are my favorite:
One boy, Shelbe, colored a sanddollar for me. Ha, so creative, I love it!
And one of the mom's brought me these beautiful mini-roses. Her daughter made me the valentine :) I also got some yummy chocolate and a tiny cupcake. I made out pretty well! hehe.
Anyway, after I got home, I went out and accomplished the following things:
- Mailed the care-package for my sister (FINALLY)
- Went to WIC and got Shea's checks for the next 3 months
- Called U-Haul and got our truck reserved for next Wednesday (so soon!!)
- Called DSHS and got the information so I can renew Shea's Medical Benefits for this year
- Cooked pasta with spinach and meat sauce for dinner (Shea is devouring it right now)
- Got all my paperwork completed and bills paid and filed with my new system! Yay, I'm keeping up with it so far and its SO nice to feel organized and know everything is in order and taken care of!
Last night after Shea went to bed, Jeremy got out his legos and we enjoyed some quality "side-by-side" time. Here are some pics I took:
I made a castle. It took forever. Here is my throne room:
Really, I was pretty proud of myself for making this castle. I don't think I've ever played with legos for as long as I did that night. haha.

Oh yes, and Robin Hood was breaking in.
Now we can officially tell our children when they ask what mommy and daddy do after they go to bed, "We play with legos."
That is SO CUTE! You guys with your legos...what a fun, free "date!"
ReplyDeleteI love all your gifts, the sanddollar is adorable. :) I love that you and Jeremy played legos together, and for sure that is what you need to tell your children parents do after bedtime. :) Haha. Hope your week is going well!
