Okay, so the entire day today I felt like I was hit by a truck and I don't even know why! I had a totally restful weekend and didn't really lose that much sleep! I went to bed maybe a little late - 10:50 - and slept in until 7 (I usually get up by 6), and had a horrible headache and felt like I was going to fall asleep all day. YIKES. I don't really think I've accomplished much today, but I thought maybe if I wrote out what I did do, I would feel better about my day, ha ha I am so pathetic.
Here goes:
- Got up, did not take a shower, tried to make my hair look not so greasy, nursed Shea, went to work.
- Came home from work, drank some tea, and rested in bed for about 15 minutes until Shea woke up from his nap. darn.
- Made Shea lunch (Chili and Cornbread was a winner today)
- went on a 30 minute walk with him (oh how I LOVED the beautiful, crisp weather today! More please!)
- Went to Costco and bought a new car seat (Shea finally grew out of his, and in two weeks he'll be a year old so he can sit facing forward, yay!)
- Went to Target and got some much needed household items I forgot to get last week.
- Went out to Panera for dinner with hubby and baby
- Deposited Jeremy's paycheck
- Gave Shea a bath and put him to bed early
- Helped Jeremy edit his sermon a little bit for this Sunday
Ok, maybe not so bad for a day where I felt totally out of it...and the only things left to do (which I am about to go do) is:
- Work out while Jeremy is still working on his sermon.
- Do the dishes
- Take a shower, drink some tea, and read my book.
- Go to bed by 9:30.
Oh and since Angela is always posting fun pictures, I'm going to leave you with this one that I snapped the other day (right before I cut his hair a little bit...I kind of miss it now that I'm looking at this picture) :
Happy End-Of-Monday!!
It sound's to me like you actually accomplished quite a lot! I am proud, especially for a day where you didn't feel up to par.
ReplyDeleteShea is absolutely adorable! I love that you are posting pictures too!
And one last thing, Panera Bread is my favorite place ever. Too bad every time I go they are super busy!
You and Angela are convincing me that I should start posting pictures. Maybe I will today? Lots going on today!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute photo of Shea! We need to get together soon. I haven't forgotten. This is my last week of classes before I have a one-week break, so maybe after that! Love you!
